 6/16/09 -- Where the HELL have you been, Min?  Well, first, and for
 the longer explanation, see my fiction-writing LJ.  But in short, this
 past year has kicked my ASS.  I think some of you already know
 that; the details are on my LJ if you want them.  But I'm posting
 here to say that I may soon be back ...   Right now, I'm working on
 the Support Stacy short story that four lovely ladies bid on back in
 the spring.  At their request, it will be a semi-sequel to Cowboys &
 Indians, albeit a one-shot to be titled "The Star Quilt," and is about Leah and Alice.  THEN I will -- yes, I WILL -- be returning to Dulce et decorum est.  Despite all evidence to the contrary, it isn't dead.  I may feel like it some days (ha), but the story isn't.  But for a whole host of reasons, what I thought I'd be working on this spring (Dulce) never happened.  Ergo, the dates of Semper Fidelis, #5 in Aorist Subjunctive, have also been pushed back.  I could be hopeful, but instead, I'm going to try to be realistic.  Christmas 2009 ... and that probably IS still overly optimistic.  I really, really need to get back to Dulce.  In fact, if I'm smart, I'll finish that, and then go back to A.S., but I fear I might be scalped, so I won't be smart. Ha.  Remind me NEVER to work on TWO novels at the same damn time again!  This is crazy.  The problem is that I really want to write both of them.  Also, I'm doing NO more fic exchanges, challenges or anything else.  Support Stacy (follow link for the explanation/story) was an exception that I made for Gioa, Stacy, and in memory of my friend June who died of breast cancer in March -- because I believe fandom needs to be about the community and we should take care of our own.  So those of you waiting on the HP stories, I beg a little more patiences for the sake of Stacy's family.

Dulce et decorum est (AU, novel, Cedric/Hermione, 'What if Cedric had lived ...?') ... expect one chapter every 2-4 weeks

Aorist Subjunctive (radical AU, novella series, Harry/Cedric, 'Dumbledore died instead of Cedric ... now what?') ... novellas published only upon completion.  Next scheduled novella: Semper Fidelis (#5), due out autumn 2009?

Of general note:  I've added a search option to the site, both on the entry page and here, on the Updates page.
